Letter from Richard Cleary: The 1 st Annual Cleary Open 2 Ball Best Ball Tournament Benefiting Hospice of the Comforter and the Kevin Cleary Supplemental Needs Trust On February 24th and 25th 2007, Mayfair Country Club will be hosting the 1st Annual Cleary Open 2 Ball Best Ball Golf Tournament. My brother Robert passed away May 9th, 2003 and during his final days he was cared for by Hospice. Words cannot describe their dedication in caring for and comforting terminally ill patients. It is through your support and generosity that they are able to continue providing care for patients in our community in advanced illnesses. On April 17th , 2006, my son Kevin, married and father of Ryne Cleary, was involved in an accident which has left him paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. We will be conducting a silent auction to raise money for Hospice and also will use Hole Sponsor Donations for the Kevin Cleary Supplemental Needs Trust which has been established in New York to support Kevin. Sponsoring a hole for this 2 day event will be $100 payable to Kevin Cleary Supplemental Needs Trust. We will also be accepting individual donations for Kevin regardless of amount. We hope this years event will be enjoyable and competitive and worthy of your support. Mail all checks for Hole Sponsorship payable to Kevin Cleary Supplemental Needs Trust to: Richard Cleary Thank you in advance for your participation Richard Cleary and Family |

November 5th 2006 - Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) Annual Triathlon-Team Cleary |
|
This is a letter from Robin's employer that was sent to raise money on Kevin's behalf: To: #Alliant All Employees I wanted to share with you something that Alliant Asset Management is working on concerning Robin Cleary. For those of you that don't know, Robin is Rob Bennett's assistant in CT and a couple of weeks ago her husband was involved in a tragic accident. While jumping around on a trampoline with their son, Robin's husband Kevin, fell off and broke his neck. He is now paralyzed from the neck down and will be a quadriplegic. In an effort to raise money, I am putting together a team to participate in the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) annual Triathlon to be held on November 5th at the La Jolla Cove in San Diego . I want to raise as much money as possible and I'm asking you to dig deep and support an amazing charity for Kevin's benefit. All the money we raise will be earmarked by CAF specifically for Kevin's rehabilitation through sports. If you would like further information on CAF you can go to www.challengedathletes.org or Melvin Gevisser who has been involved with this organization for years. Donations can be made directly on the website or if you prefer I can collect the money and send it as one lump sum. To make a donation on the website go to : https://www.kintera.org/ I appreciate your support and I know Robin and Kevin do as well. |
